Kick-off event Made in Germany 2030

Securing prosperity, growth, energy transition, economy wide decarbonisation and climate action – Germany is at a crossroads. Politicians, leaders in various industries as well as in the financial sector and academia are discussing potential ways forward. However, all too often this happens isolated from each other or by excluding vital perspectives, even if unintentionally. The development of a common, inclusive strategy is needed. After all, we can only be successful if regulatory frameworks, financing and implementation are harmonized.

This is where "Made in Germany 2030" comes in. At the official kick-off event, hosted by Stiftung Mercator on 26 September 2024, the project's strategic vision on industry and next steps were presented and discussed with guests from politics, businesses, the financial sector, academia and civil society.
